Why we developed the Get More Sleep Program
At Mind Life Clinic our mission statement that drives everything we do is:

We noticed that very large number of our clients experienced sleep problems which in turn reduced their potential and enjoyment from life. We found that they frequently did not know what was causing their sleep problems, and did not know how to get their sleep back on track. They had often tried a number of things to improve their sleep which simply had not worked. As a result people often became disheartened about their capacity to sleep well, and had reached a stage where they did not think their sleep problems could be improved.
Over time we began treating more and more people for sleep problems and time after time they came back reporting their sleep had improved significantly after using the various strategies contained in this program. What was even better is that not only did their sleep that improve, but many other areas of their life did as well. Our clients began reporting that their mood had improved, anxiety had decreased, thinking had become more positive, energy levels and physical health had improved, and they also frequently reported an overall increased sense of general wellbeing.
We found that once we had treated the sleep problems, even if that wasn’t the primary reason they had come to see us in the first place, their main reason for seeing us often suddenly disappeared. People who came for treatment of depression or anxiety frequently improved significantly and required only minimal treatment for these conditions. These results sparked our interest in sleep and we began examining sleep research and strategies from around the world. What we found was that although there was a lot of sleep research was being done around the world, and there are numerous books and articles on the subject, there was no one resource available that combined the most effective sleep strategies and information into one simple to use program. This surprised us as insomnia effects millions upon millions of people every day, and effective treatment strategies are available. We saw this as an opportunity to act on our mission of making a positive impact on the world and so we decided to develop the Get More Sleep Program to help people around the world to get more sleep.
